About the role
The Happy Program is looking for a reliable Cashier to join its retail team in Accra. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash, mobile‑money, card payments and store credit accurately.
- Maintain cash drawer balance by counting float and reconciling at the end of each shift.
- Keep the checkout area tidy, organizing bags, receipts and small items.
- Identify and report any suspicious activity such as counterfeit money or unusual transactions.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years cash handling experience in a retail environment.
- Academic qualification: WASSCE (SHS) or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy.
