Chartered Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join the finance team of Fountain Head Christian School. The role will be based in Accra and will support the school’s financial operations, ensuring compliance and providing strategic advice to management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial statements, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Oversee payroll processing, internal and external audits, and regular financial reporting.
• Monitor expenditures and implement cost‑control measures.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to support management decision‑making.
• Supervise accounts staff, ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
• Liaise with auditors, banks and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial management, taxation and auditing.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
