Chief Finance Officer

About the role

The Chief Finance Officer will lead Deloitte's financial management and strategy for its operations in Ghana, ensuring fiscal stability and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and auditing.
• Develop and implement long‑term financial strategy, risk management, and investment plans for manufacturing and trading businesses.
• Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian tax law, company law, and internal policies.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, collaborating with subsidiary finance heads.

Required profile

• Fellow member of ACCA, ICAG, CIMA or equivalent (e.g., CPA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of senior financial managerial experience post‑qualification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Data analysis, risk management, and forecasting expertise.
• Working knowledge of Ghana Tax Law and Company Law.
