Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Accra, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Daily Food Ltd. The CFO will lead financial planning and budgeting, manage cash flow, and provide strategic guidance to support sustainable growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting and cash‑flow management.
• Oversee preparation, analysis and reporting of financial statements ensuring compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the executive team to evaluate investments, manage risk and support decision‑making with accurate financial insights.
• Build, mentor and develop the finance team while implementing robust internal controls.
• Continuously improve financial processes, systems and reporting tools.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in finance with expertise in financial planning and budgeting.
• Proven leadership experience in senior financial roles, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or advanced degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly.
