About the role
The Coding and Robotics Facilitator will deliver hands‑on lessons and workshops that introduce learners to basic programming concepts, robotics hardware, and problem‑solving through technology. This part‑time, on‑site role is scheduled on Fridays from 9 am to 1 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and organise age‑appropriate coding and robotics activities, prepare instructional materials and set up equipment.
- Guide learners through coding exercises, supervise simple robotics projects and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback and communicate session updates to stakeholders.
Required profile
- Strong foundational skills in coding (block‑based or introductory text‑based programming) and basic robotics concepts suitable for beginners.
- Experience facilitating group learning or mentoring in educational or workshop settings.
- Effective communication, patience and a learner‑centered approach.
