Community and Marketing Manager

About the role

The Community and Marketing Manager will be the face of Westerwelle Startup Haus Accra, driving brand awareness, building a vibrant entrepreneurial community, and increasing occupancy of the coworking space and programmes. This role works closely with the Country Director and programme team to position the hub as a leading innovation centre in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture a thriving community of entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, universities and ecosystem partners.
• Ensure high member satisfaction, retention and engagement through events, feedback loops and personalised support.
• Welcome visitors, onboard new members and provide an outstanding community experience.
• Maintain strong relationships with members, respond to ad‑hoc requests and connect them with relevant ecosystem contacts.
• Initiate and implement workspace improvements to keep the hub premium and comfortable.
• Manage community guidelines, online communication channels and the CRM system.
• Support the development of strategic partnerships that contribute to hub growth.
• Drive coworking sales and promote the hub’s programmes.
