Construction Foreman

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to lead daily operations on an interior renovation project for a U.S. Embassy facility in Ghana. The role involves supervising on‑site construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring strict compliance with safety, security, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and control skilled labor and work crews on all civil‑works aspects of the project.
• Optimize manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve timely completion.
• Interpret and enforce method statements, specifications, drawings, and other engineering documents.
• Coordinate with other discipline foremen to maximize work utilization.
• Supply crews with necessary tools, equipment, and materials while preventing waste.
• Enforce company safety and QA/QC procedures on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in interior renovation projects, including at least 3 years as a foreman.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a high‑school certificate.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Proven track record of maintaining site discipline and safety.
