Digital Lending Manager

About the role

The Digital Lending Manager will lead the design and execution of digital lending initiatives that align with the company’s strategic objectives. This senior position reports to senior leadership and works closely with cross‑functional teams to drive growth and innovation in the lending portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a digital lending strategy that supports organizational goals.
• Drive innovation in digital lending models, customer journeys, and partnership solutions with telcos and other providers.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Marketing to launch new digital lending features and services.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as loan disbursements, active borrowers, portfolio at risk (PAR) and non‑performing loans (NPL).
• Oversee credit scoring models, underwriting frameworks, and affordability assessments.
• Ensure revenue growth, profitability, and ROI while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, IT or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• 8–10 years of experience in lending, fintech or banking, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling digital lending products.
