Dispatch Rider

About the role

Chalé Now is looking for a full‑time Dispatch Rider to join its fast‑growing delivery team in Accra. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering groceries, meals and other essential items to customers quickly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Collect orders from the warehouse and deliver them to customers across assigned routes.
• Confirm order details with the operations team and update delivery status in the app.
• Plan efficient routes using GPS and adapt to traffic conditions.
• Interact professionally with customers at pickup and drop‑off points, handling cash or digital payments as required.
• Perform basic vehicle or motorbike checks before and after shifts and report any incidents.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Accra’s road network and ability to follow GPS directions.
• Valid rider’s or driver’s license for a motorbike or delivery vehicle.
• Good communication skills and a polite, customer‑focused attitude.
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to ride for extended periods and lift light to moderately heavy packages.

Required skills

• Basic smartphone literacy – using delivery apps, maps and communication tools.
• Familiarity with simple vehicle or motorbike maintenance checks (fuel, tires, lights).
