About the role
Newmont is seeking a reliable Driver to support its transport needs across Accra and the Tema region. The role involves moving personnel and documents safely and efficiently, adhering to company and local safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily pick‑ups and drop‑offs of documents and staff at designated locations.
- Conduct pre‑start vehicle inspections and complete the required check‑list before each trip.
- Travel to various sites, including locations outside the mine, as required.
- Coordinate vehicle arrivals and departures to ensure timely and safe operations.
- Prepare and submit reports on accidents, breakdowns and repairs to the Chief Driver.
Required profile
- Entry‑level candidates with a valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to follow local traffic laws and Newmont’s safety policies.
- Willingness to work onsite and travel as needed.
