Dyno Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Dyno Operator to join our Engine Rebuild Center in Accra, Ghana. You will be responsible for testing rebuilt engines on the Taylor Engine Test Cell, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with OEM requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily test schedules and job cards to maintain production flow.
• Conduct pre‑test inspections and verify calibration of test cell instrumentation.
• Perform engine safety checks, confirm PPE, and secure isolation points before testing.
• Mount, align, and secure engines according to SOPs and manufacturer specs.
• Operate the Taylor Engine Test Cell to run load, performance, and break‑in tests.
• Monitor real‑time test data, diagnose abnormalities, and apply mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Document Dyno Test Reports, validate results, and escalate non‑conforming units.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, maintain calibration compliance, and keep the test cell audit‑ready.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production teams for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in operating the Taylor Engine Test Cell with a focus on safety and quality.
• Manufacturing knowledge to implement process and equipment improvements.
• Ability to identify and manage electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic hazards.
• Advanced skills in electrical troubleshooting and factory automation.
