English Copywriter – Creative Agency

About the role

Publicis West Africa is seeking an English‑speaking Copywriter to craft high‑quality, insight‑driven content for a diverse portfolio of brands across Central and West Africa. You will work closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, strategists and client service teams to deliver compelling copy that meets brief objectives and upholds both local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop consistently high‑quality, insight‑driven copy that aligns with client briefs and brand objectives.
• Generate strong creative ideas and collaborate with Art Directors on integrated, through‑the‑line campaigns.
• Create headlines, scripts, dialogues and other copy for TV, print, outdoor, radio, activation, ambient and digital channels.
• Present and sell creative concepts to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Translate ideas into clear production briefs and guide suppliers through the execution process.
• Oversee creative execution, ensuring attention to detail and brand integrity.
• Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and lead creative development discussions.
• Manage workload, meet deadlines and proactively solve challenges throughout the production cycle.

Required profile
