Estimator & Construction Project Lead

About the role

MilleNext Group is looking for an experienced Estimator & Construction Project Lead to manage the estimating and bid development process for construction projects across the US and Africa. The role combines cost estimation, bid management, and project pipeline oversight to ensure competitive and accurate proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors and indirect costs.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Develop conceptual, preliminary and final estimates aligned with project stages.
• Analyze project plans, technical specifications and regulatory requirements for pipeline and telecom construction.
• Lead the full bid lifecycle from RFP review to final proposal submission, coordinating internal reviews and schedules.
• Identify commercial and operational risks in contract terms and scope.
• Solicit, evaluate and manage vendor and subcontractor quotations, ensuring scope alignment and pricing accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction cost estimation and bid management.
• Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications, fiber optic, and network infrastructure projects.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple bids and project pipelines.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess project risks and develop realistic budgets.
