Examinations Clerk Grade III

About the role

The Examinations Clerk Grade III will support the West African Examinations Council in managing examination materials, records and related documentation. The role involves routine clerical tasks, handling scripts and ensuring confidentiality of exam‑related items.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine clerical duties, including certification of verified documents.
• Assist with documentation, accurate record‑keeping and the collection and processing of worked scripts.
• Control, allocate and pack worked scripts and examination stationery for distribution.
• Assist in resolving queries related to examinations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and custody of all exam‑related materials.
• Maintain filing systems for exam documents.

Required profile

• Minimum WASSCE/SSSCE/GBCE/GCE Ordinary Level with credits in at least five subjects, including English and Mathematics.
• Computer literate.
• At least one year of relevant post‑qualification experience in a reputable organisation.
• Age not more than 30 years at the time of application.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, high sense of integrity and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to organise tasks proactively and be a good team player.
