About the role

Join the dynamic culinary team at ibis Styles Accra Airport City as an Executive Chef. You will lead all kitchen operations, ensuring top‑notch food quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction across the hotel’s dining venues and banquet services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee culinary operations, guaranteeing consistency, presentation, and high guest satisfaction.
• Develop innovative, seasonal menus aligned with brand standards and market trends.
• Coach, mentor and develop the culinary team to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and local regulations.
• Monitor and control food, labor and inventory costs to meet budget targets.
• Maintain standardized recipes, portion controls and production procedures.
• Manage purchasing, receiving, storage and inventory while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership to support hotel events and promotions.
• Maintain kitchen equipment in optimal condition and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement through culinary innovation and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and local regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs and optimise inventory.
• Excellent team‑building and coaching skills.
• Commitment to sustainability and waste‑reduction practices.
