Farm Manager – Poultry Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Farm Manager to oversee our poultry farm operations, ensuring high standards of production, biosecurity, and animal welfare.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage feed, vaccines, medications, and other farm inputs.
• Supervise and train farm workers to ensure compliance with operational procedures.
• Oversee day‑to‑day poultry farm operations including brooding, feeding, vaccination, and growth monitoring.
• Maintain strict biosecurity and hygiene standards across the farm.
• Monitor bird health, detect early disease signs, and coordinate veterinary interventions.
• Keep accurate records of production, mortality, feed consumption, and sales.
• Manage inventory, budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
• Collaborate with management to achieve production targets and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• HND in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a poultry farm (layers or broilers).
• Strong knowledge of poultry production, disease control, and farm management.
• Ability to work independently and handle farm emergencies.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
