Field Service Technician – Crushing & Screening

About the role

Metso is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician specialized in crushing and screening equipment to support customers across Ghana. The role involves on‑site service, maintenance, and training to ensure optimal performance of Metso machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field service activities at customer sites and from the office, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct equipment inspections, provide recommendations, and carry out assembly, disassembly, installation and commissioning of crushers and screens.
• Deliver trade‑specific work such as hydraulics, mechanics and automation tasks.
• Provide basic operation and maintenance training to customers and remote support to colleagues.
• Prepare and submit site reports, timesheets and travel expenses promptly.
• Identify sales leads, promote service offerings and ensure compliance with Metso processes, HSE standards and digital tools (FSM, DIT, REX).

Required profile

• BSc or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of field experience in a mining plant environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Metso crushing and screening equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work safely on remote sites.
