About the role
This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Accra and supports the finance function of Paper Merchant. The Finance Associate prepares financial statements, conducts financial reporting, and analyses budgets and expenditures to help improve financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Conduct regular financial reporting.
- Analyse budgets, expenditures and cash‑flow.
- Assess financial data for accuracy and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely financial operations.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar finance role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Ability to manage cash flow, payroll and other liabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Solid understanding of finance principles and practices.
- Knowledge of financial software and tools is a plus.
