Finance Associate

About the role

BIGAS CONSULT is seeking a Finance Associate to support daily accounting operations and tax compliance in its Accra and Tema offices. The role offers a chance to work closely with the finance team, handling transactions, invoicing, and statutory filings while developing a solid foundation in Ghanaian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, maintain records, and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue invoices, record payments, and generate financial reports.
• Compute and submit PAYE and SSNIT contributions.
• Ensure compliance with GRA tax requirements and assist with tax filings.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial documentation.

Required profile

• HND or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong financial and accounting background with up to 2 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of PAYE, SSNIT, and GRA regulations.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills.
• Preference for candidates residing in or around Osu.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
