Finance Manager / Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager / Accountant to lead our accounting operations in Accra. The role involves overseeing day‑to‑day financial processes, preparing statements, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop, monitor, and analyse company budgets, forecasts, and financial risk profiles.
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, GAAP/IFRS standards, and internal controls.
• Coordinate external audit processes and prepare necessary documentation.
• Provide actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Accountant, or similar financial administration role (approximately 5 years).
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting frameworks, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
