Finance Manager – Cold Chain & Market Access

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance function of our Cold Store Business Division. You will partner with the Business Head to drive financial control, profitability and strategic decision‑making across the frozen‑food supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and accounting activities, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Partner with the Business Head to analyse pricing, margins and product/customer profitability.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
• Manage inventory finance, including stock reconciliation, wastage, shrinkage and expiry control.
• Optimise working capital, cash flow, receivables collection and supplier payments.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities in storage, logistics and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian tax and statutory requirements, coordinate audits and maintain internal controls.
• Lead, develop and mentor the divisional finance team.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Experience in frozen foods, FMCG distribution, cold‑chain logistics and managing units with revenues above USD 30 million.
• Proven track record in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, cost accounting and working‑capital management.

Required skills

• Oracle ERP (or similar) implementation and usage.
• Advanced Excel for financial modelling.
• Power BI for reporting and data visualisation.
