Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial planning, reporting and analysis functions for a fast‑moving retail, fashion and FMCG business operating in Accra. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure accurate month‑end close, budgeting and forecasting while supporting strategic investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute financial projects and daily tasks.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and lead the month‑end closing process.
• Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting and reporting frameworks.
• Manage the capital structure to optimise the mix of equity and debt.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and monitor returns on assets.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to improve business performance.
• Track key performance indicators, produce regular metric reports and assess financial risks.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, accounting or a related field (essential).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and collaborate both independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
