Finance Officer

About the role

Project HOPE is seeking a Finance Officer to provide day‑to‑day financial support for the Ghana Integrated Health Partnership (IHP) activity. Working closely with the Finance and Grants Manager, the officer will ensure that all financial transactions comply with donor regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accounting and finance support for the Ghana IHP activity.
• Assist program staff with financial operations, ensuring pre‑approvals are obtained before expenses are incurred.
• Prepare procurement requests, secure necessary approvals, and coordinate with the logistics team for delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation for procurement transactions and control payments.
• Process financial transactions, prepare ad‑hoc reports, and support financial analysis as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to support finance and grant management functions for a donor‑funded health project.
• Experience working with program staff to ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies.
• Attention to detail in processing transactions and maintaining documentation.
