Fleet Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Fleet Operations Manager to oversee driver welfare and vehicle operations across Accra and the Tema region. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle location and driver performance using GPS and MAX technology.
• Develop strategies to reduce costs, increase profits, and improve operational efficiency.
• Create and track key performance indicators for all teams.
• Prepare regular maintenance reports and ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
• Design training modules for vehicle and equipment usage.
• Maintain fleet availability by analyzing user trends and scheduling.
• Enforce transportation scheduling policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee vehicle registration, licensing, and budgeting processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of logistics or transportation experience.
• Degree in Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven leadership in operations, strategic planning, and fast‑paced global organizations.
• Deep understanding of technology, product and change management.
• Experience in mobility, fintech, gig‑economy or e‑commerce sectors.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
