Forklift Mechanic

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will ensure that all diesel and electric forklifts operate safely and efficiently through routine maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on forklifts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all forklifts are safe and operational.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Forklift Mechanic or Heavy‑Duty Mechanic.
• Knowledge of diesel and/or electric forklift systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
