FPSO Pumpman – 24‑Month Contract (Ghana)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced FPSO Pumpman for a 24‑month fixed‑term assignment on a floating production storage and offloading vessel operating off Ghana. The role involves supporting the Services Supervisor in crude oil handling, equipment maintenance and marine deck operations while ensuring safety and compliance with the FPSO Waste Management Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with loading, storage, internal transfer and off‑loading of crude oil.
• Maintain accommodation, deck utilities and marine equipment including cargo pumps, valves, piping, gauging and sampling systems, off‑take mooring gear, Crude Oil Washing (COW) and Inert Gas Systems.
• Perform routine cargo, slops and ballast sampling as required.
• Support tank water washing, purging, gas‑freeing and routine tank inspections/repairs.
• Operate as a lifeboat Coxswain and assist with weekly lifeboat maintenance.
• Carry out maintenance on life‑saving and firefighting appliances under HSE guidance.
• Assist deck foreman in deck operations and act as helicopter deck crew when needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to the FPSO Waste Management Plan.

Required profile

• Mechanical Technician background or equivalent experience as a pumpman on a tanker.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant offshore or marine pump operation experience.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong interpersonal skills for issue resolution.
