Fraud Management Lead

About the role

The Fraud Management Lead will safeguard Telecel Cash’s revenue integrity and ensure operational resilience by designing and overseeing a comprehensive fraud prevention framework. This role focuses on detecting, mitigating, and responding to fraud threats across commissions, third‑party integrations, and Mobile Money Interoperability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end fraud management operations, ensuring timely detection, response, and mitigation of incidents.
• Implement and maintain controls and systems to prevent fraud in high‑risk areas such as commissions, third‑party integrations, and Mobile Money Interoperability.
• Lead fraud risk assessments for new and existing products, aligning with Security‑by‑Design strategies.
• Identify emerging fraud schemes, coordinate mitigation measures, and monitor evolving threat landscapes.
• Analyze internal and external fraud trends, generate insights, and report findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements, regulatory mandates, and lawful disclosure obligations.
• Participate in internal and external fraud forums and collaborate cross‑functionally on risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fraud management, revenue assurance, or telecom/IT operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex data into strategic insights.
• Results‑driven attitude focused on process optimisation and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with anti‑fraud tools, transaction monitoring, and risk detection platforms.
• Knowledge of telecom and FinTech fraud schemes and countermeasures.
