Full-time On-site Nanny

About the role

Stay Out Help is seeking a dedicated, full-time nanny to join a family in Accra. The role is on‑site and focuses on providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive through daily routines, learning activities, and attentive care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities and ensure children’s safety at all times.
• Plan and lead age‑appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Support early childhood development, positive behavior, and social skills.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks following any dietary guidelines.
• Assist with basic hygiene, diapering, and dressing.
• Maintain a clean, organized play and learning area.
• Communicate regularly with parents about the child’s day, needs, and progress.
• Follow household schedules, rules, and family instructions.

Required profile

• Experience in nanny, babysitting, daycare, or similar childcare roles.
• Patience, empathy, and clear communication with children and adults.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow family instructions.
• Basic first‑aid knowledge or certification and comfort handling minor emergencies.
• Minimum high school diploma; childcare or early‑childhood education training is a plus.
