General Laborer

About the role

We are seeking a reliable General Laborer to support daily operations on construction sites. The role involves performing manual tasks, maintaining site cleanliness, and assisting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects run smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash, debris, and hazardous material to keep the site clean and safe.
• Assist welders, carpenters, painters, and other tradespeople with material handling and on‑site tasks.
• Transport and position materials such as cement, and operate equipment like drills, grinders, and forklifts when required.
• Use power tools (saws, drills, grinders) and machinery safely under supervisor direction.
• Set up and move temporary structures, including scaffolding, and place warning signs, cones, and signposts for vehicle and pedestrian safety.
• Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions promptly to supervisors.

Required profile

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads regularly.
• Strong focus on safety rules and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to perform tough, hands‑on work in various weather conditions.

Required skills

• Operation of power tools such as saws, drills, and grinders.
• Forklift operation.
• Basic scaffolding assembly and disassembly.
