Geology Raw Material Buyer

About the role

The Geology Raw Material Buyer is responsible for ensuring a stable supply of non‑metallic raw materials such as ceramics, cement and glass constituents. The role combines field geological surveying, coordination of mining activities and supplier relationship management to support production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive geological surveys to map raw material distribution, quality indicators and reserve conditions.
• Coordinate mining operations and manage the supply chain to guarantee continuous, qualified raw material delivery.
• Monitor mineral exploitation progress and intervene to maintain stable supply levels.
• Maintain external public relations, communicate with suppliers, negotiate contracts and control supply risks with mining sites and relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Solid geological background with systematic expertise in the field.
• In‑depth knowledge of non‑metallic raw materials, including ceramic, cement and glass technologies and associated mineral standards.
• Minimum three years of experience in geological surveying, preferably within geological survey agencies, cement companies, mining firms or professional survey institutions.
