Group Loan Supervisor

About the role

The Group Loan Supervisor will lead a team of loan officers in the Accra and Tema region, overseeing the end‑to‑end processing of group loan applications. This role combines field work, client interaction and reporting to ensure the portfolio meets performance and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, process and approve group loan applications in line with company policies.
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of loan officers to achieve lending targets.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor repayments, verify compliance and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate loan records and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability and attention to detail within the team.

Required profile

• University degree in any discipline.
• Physically fit for field work and travel within the region.
• 2–5 years of experience as a group loan supervisor or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.
