Gynecologist – Full‑time position in Accra

About the role

Famano Health is seeking a qualified Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join its women’s health practice in Accra. The role offers clinical autonomy within a modern, patient‑centered environment focused on comprehensive women’s health.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialist gynecological consultations, including cervical screening, pelvic examinations, and ultrasounds.
• Manage antenatal care from the first to third trimester and provide post‑operative and post‑partum follow‑up.
• Perform minor procedures such as IUD insertion/removal, contraceptive implant placement, cervical biopsies, LEEP, and cryotherapy.
• Prescribe and interpret laboratory tests (STI screening, hormonal panels, vaginal cultures, CBC, TSH, AMH) and communicate results to patients.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records, schedule appointments, handle billing, and ensure compliance with hygiene and sterilisation standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a valid license to practice obstetrics and gynecology in Ghana.
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Patient‑focused attitude with a commitment to high‑quality women’s care.
