Head Teacher / Principal

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced Head Teacher / Principal to provide overall leadership for its campuses in Accra and Tema. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening teaching and learning, managing staff performance, and driving continuous improvement across the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the school’s academic and administrative functions, ensuring alignment with GES and Cambridge curricula.
• Develop and mentor teachers to raise instructional quality and student outcomes.
• Oversee staff performance management, recruitment, and professional development.
• Implement school improvement plans and monitor progress against academic standards.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in school leadership or management in pre‑school, primary, or secondary settings.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana Education Service (GES) and Cambridge curricula.
• Relevant teaching and educational leadership qualifications.
• Proven ability to innovate, lead change, and improve academic standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
