Home Care Provider

About the role

Stay Out Help is seeking a full‑time Home Care Provider to work on‑site in Accra. The role involves supporting clients in their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort and dignity while promoting independence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Monitor clients’ well‑being, observe any changes in condition and report them to supervisors or family members.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in appropriate activities according to their preferences.
• Follow individualized care plans, adhere to safety protocols and maintain basic documentation.
• Collaborate with families and other care professionals to deliver consistent, respectful care.

Required profile

• Demonstrated caregiving experience, preferably in home or elder care.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients and families.
• Reliability, patience and a compassionate approach to diverse client needs.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a home environment.
• Ability to follow care plans, keep simple records and communicate clearly with supervisors.
