Hotel Manager – Accra

About the role

The Hotel Manager will oversee all operational outlets of the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, ensuring smooth daily business, profitability, and quality standards. The role also acts as the General Manager’s deputy, stepping in during absences.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, initiate and control all operational processes across departments.
• Serve as the link between the General Manager and Department Heads, facilitating communication and meetings.
• Implement annual performance reviews, career planning, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the GM.
• Lead safety and protection initiatives, including fire safety and emergency procedures.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and sales optimisation through promotional activities.
• Oversee room rate sales, forecast and yield management for the lodging area.
• Monitor quality of public and non‑public spaces, technical condition of departments, and daily departmental performance.
• Drive cross‑functional projects and ensure continuous personal and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (Masters preferred).
• Strong background in rooms operations (advantageous).
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets and drive sales performance.
• Experience in hotel management or similar hospitality environment.
