Hotel Manager – Luxury Hotel Operations

About the role

The Hotel Manager will lead all operational outlets of the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, ensuring smooth daily business, profitability and high quality standards. The role also includes acting as the General Manager’s deputy and overseeing project development within the team.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize sales and manage promotional activities.
• Substitute the General Manager during absences and represent the hotel in external matters.
• Coordinate, initiate and control all operational processes, delegating tasks as needed.
• Serve as the link between the General Manager and department heads, ensuring effective communication.
• Implement annual performance reviews, career planning and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the GM.
• Lead safety, protection and fire‑protection measures, complying with local regulations.
• Prepare, monitor and control budgets, cost control and revenue forecasts.
• Oversee quality standards in public and non‑public spaces and monitor technical conditions of departments.
• Drive cross‑functional projects and ensure personal professional development.
• Manage Manager on Duty duties throughout the week and weekends.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hotel Management or a related field.
• International experience in comparable luxury hotel positions.
• Comprehensive training across various hotel departments.
• Analytical thinking and strong executive capabilities.
• Proficiency in written and oral French is a plus.
