About the role

Uwezo Business Consultants is seeking an Independent Entrepreneur to join its remote consulting team. You will build and manage a personal portfolio of small and medium‑sized enterprise clients, delivering tailored business strategy, operations, and market development solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
• Conduct market and business analyses to design growth‑oriented strategies.
• Develop and present customized consulting proposals and clear recommendations.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, setting goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships and uphold professional communication standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, and relationship management.
• Strong background in strategic planning, market analysis, and problem‑solving for SMEs.
• Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and stay accountable for results.
• High ethical standards, respect for client confidentiality, and sensitivity to diverse client needs.
