About the role
The Issuing Officer is responsible for managing the issuance of materials, items, and documents, ensuring accurate records and compliance with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and process requests for materials, items, or documents before issuing.
- Maintain accurate records of all items issued, returned, and pending.
- Check stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and enforce FIFO/FEFO methods.
- Inspect items for quality, quantity, and compliance.
- Coordinate with departments to fulfill material or document requirements promptly.
- Maintain an organized storage area and report shortages or damages.
Required profile
- Degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field (advantage).
- Honest, reliable, with strong integrity and compliance.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
- Experience with inventory or stock management software (e.g., WMS systems) and familiarity with issuing, receiving, or stock control processes.
