Junior Stores Officer

About the role

The Junior Stores Officer will support the efficient management of stock and supplies for Restaurant Kozo's locations in Accra and Tema. Working on‑site, you will ensure that ingredients and materials are available when needed while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify deliveries, checking quantities and quality.
• Update stock records and maintain accurate inventory data.
• Organise storage areas to optimise space and accessibility.
• Assist with routine stock counts and cycle counts.
• Prepare and process basic purchase requests and purchase orders.
• Monitor stock levels and flag discrepancies or shortages to senior staff.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely availability of items.
• Follow safety, hygiene and internal audit procedures.

Required profile

• Senior high school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary training in supply chain, logistics or related field is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.
• Good communication and ability to work with kitchen, purchasing and management teams.
• Physical ability to lift and organise stock on‑site in Accra.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory software.
• Competence in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) for tracking stock.
• Experience handling purchase orders and basic store‑keeping operations.
