Key Account Manager – Home Category

About the role

Jumia is seeking a Key Account Manager for its Home category to drive growth of the hardware and technology portfolio, including laptops, desktops and accessories. The role will act as the primary commercial liaison with top global brands, distributors and vendors, ensuring Jumia remains the preferred destination for computing consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts and top brands within the Home category, building long‑lasting commercial partnerships.
• Develop and implement category‑specific commercial strategies to increase sales volume, revenue and market share.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design and execute high‑impact promotional campaigns such as Tech Week and Black Friday.
• Analyse sales data, stock turnover and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimise pricing.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure exclusive launches, best‑in‑market pricing and favourable margin contributions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven commercial or account‑management experience, preferably in e‑commerce or consumer home appliances.
• Strong understanding of the Home category, hardware specifications and consumer market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to monitor inventory health and sales targets.
