Lab Technician – Accra/Tema

About the role

Join Shalina Diagnostics Ghana as a Lab Technician and support patient care by delivering accurate laboratory analyses. You will work in a fast‑paced diagnostic environment, ensuring high‑quality results and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests across diagnostic areas.
• Maintain turnaround times in line with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Document test results and keep precise laboratory logs.
• Provide technical support to the healthcare team for efficient patient care delivery.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to company and regulatory standards.
• Implement internal quality‑control measures for all technical procedures.
• Assist with research projects, evaluate new techniques, and participate in laboratory audits.

Required profile

• Diploma, certificate or degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Approximately 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Good standing with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC).
