About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for a Lecturer position within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising student projects, and contributing to the university’s research and community‑service agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and develop curricula in selected departments (e.g., Mobile and Pervasive Computing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or General Studies).
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects and theses.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish findings in reputable venues.
• Participate in community service and outreach activities aligned with the university’s mission.
• Engage in faculty development initiatives and departmental administration.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline of computing, information systems, or related field.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
