Legal Data Analyst – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Data Analyst to join our remote team worldwide. The role combines legal expertise with data analytics to turn complex legal information into actionable insights that support compliance, risk management and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large legal datasets (litigation outcomes, regulatory filings, contract terms) to uncover trends, risks and opportunities.
• Translate findings into insights for legal strategy, compliance and business decisions.
• Create and maintain high‑quality training data, craft prompts and evaluate outputs for large language models used in legal workflows.
• Support regulatory compliance by interpreting emerging regulations and mapping them to internal processes.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Lead automation initiatives to improve legal process efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Assist in data governance, classification, retention and quality standards for legal data assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal analysis, legal operations, compliance analytics or data analysis within a legal environment.
• Strong ability to translate complex legal concepts into data structures and quantitative analyses.
• Proven project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple initiatives under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with large language model workflows and prompt engineering.
