Live-in Domestic Assistant & Childcare Support

About the role

Touch Down Travels is seeking a reliable live‑in Domestic Assistant who will also provide childcare support for two school‑age girls. The role combines household management with attentive supervision of the children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise two girls (8 and 10 years old), attend to their basic needs and ensure their safety.
• Prepare nutritious Ghanaian family meals daily and keep the kitchen clean.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and general tidying of all rooms.
• Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding and ironing of clothing and linens.
• Run light errands and help maintain overall household organization.

Required profile

• Female, aged between 30 and 45 years.
• Fluent in Twi and conversational English.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in housekeeping, cooking, or nanny/childcare roles.
• Honest, patient, child‑friendly, punctual and respectful.
• Valid Ghana Card and verifiable references.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing Ghanaian dishes.
• Ability to perform standard cleaning and laundry tasks.
• Basic child‑care and safety awareness.

What we offer

• Negotiable monthly salary between GHS 1,500 and GHS 2,000.
• One day off per weekend.
• Live‑in accommodation and meals provided.
