Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Maintenance Officer will ensure that all building, equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to any repair requests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance work.
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and recommend procurement of materials and spare parts.
• Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules.
• Keep the workplace clean, safe, and functional.

Required profile

• Diploma, HND, or vocational certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in facility or building maintenance (approximately 2 years).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
