Management Accountant

About the role

Fairgreen Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team in Accra. The role will support the company’s growth in the IT & Telecoms sector by providing accurate cost analysis, budgeting and financial reporting. You will work closely with technical, sales, procurement and logistics teams to drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costing systems and monitor cost variances.
• Track and analyse costs across all cost centres.
• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts aligned with business plans.
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Analyse financial data to support decision‑making and improve business performance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and cost‑control measures.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Ghanaian regulations and internal audit requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including technical, sales, procurement and logistics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (Master’s degree a plus).
• Professional qualification such as ICAG, ACCA or CIMA strongly preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in management accounting, cost accounting and inventory management.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially Sage 300.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capability.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and IFRS standards.
