Manager, Right-Fit Evidence

About the role

IPA’s Right-Fit Evidence unit is seeking Managers to lead a portfolio of evidence‑ and learning‑related advisory services, supporting partners across development and humanitarian sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of 2–3 advisory engagements simultaneously, delivering workshops and technical assistance on theory of change, mixed‑methods evaluation design, cost‑effectiveness modeling, A/B testing, MEL system support, and evidence reviews.
• Supervise 1–2 Advisors, oversee project finances, ensure high‑quality outputs are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop new business opportunities, coordinate proposal development, and represent RFE with funders and at conferences.
• Contribute to RFE strategic goals, innovate product development, and support internal management systems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international public policy, development economics, or related field (MBA acceptable).
• 4+ years of experience in M&E, education policy, program management, operational research, or management consulting.
• Experience working in low‑ and middle‑income countries and with government or philanthropic stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills with proven project and people management experience.

Required skills

• Design and management of evidence, learning, monitoring, and evaluation strategies.
• Quantitative methods, mixed‑methods evaluation, cost‑effectiveness modeling, A/B testing.
• Familiarity with M&E technology such as SurveyCTO, ODK, or similar data‑collection software.
• Qualitative data collection and analysis, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), and evidence review techniques.
