Manager – Valuation & Modelling (Strategy & Transactions)

About the role

As a Manager you will lead multiple valuation and modelling projects, helping clients make confident decisions that drive performance, growth and resilience. You will support organisations through change, crisis and strategic transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead valuation and modelling engagements, providing advisory services for financial reporting, tax structuring and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct transaction compliance valuations, including purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment and intangible asset assessments.
• Advise clients on strategic decisions using financial modelling, analysis and valuation, and oversee model development and governance.
• Perform audit support research and independent procedures to assess the reasonableness of various valuation analyses such as goodwill, intangible assets, business combinations and privately‑held equity and debt instruments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field (minimum second class upper); Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as ICAG, ACCA, ICAEW or CFA (or Level 3 candidate).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with valuation methodologies (income, market, cost) and financial modelling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial data sources such as Capital IQ is a plus.
