Marketing Officer – Oil & Gas Sector

About the role

The Capital Group Ltd is seeking a detail‑oriented Marketing Officer to support its oil and gas import‑export business. The role focuses on promoting petroleum products, strengthening business relationships, and analysing market trends to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness and sales.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Create and manage marketing content for websites, social media, brochures, newsletters, and advertisements.
• Coordinate promotional events, exhibitions, product launches, and corporate branding activities.
• Manage the organisation's social media presence and digital marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, media partners, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and prepare performance reports.
• Assist in developing and managing marketing budgets.
• Collaborate with sales and other departments to support business development.
• Identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies for customer acquisition and retention.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the energy (oil & gas) sector with proven management and team‑leadership success.
• Existing client‑based portfolio in the oil industry.
• Knowledge of supply and trading functions within the sector.
• Strong negotiation and business development skills.
• Ability to increase cash sales and reduce credit sales.
