Mathematics Teacher – Upper Primary

About the role

The school seeks an enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher for upper‑primary learners. You will deliver engaging, learner‑centered lessons aligned with the international curriculum and IGCSE standards, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Mathematics lessons for upper‑primary students.
• Apply the IGCSE Mathematics curriculum where relevant and adapt content to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess, record and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and implement targeted intervention strategies.
• Utilise technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning.
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification.
• 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably at upper‑primary level.
• Demonstrated experience teaching IGCSE Mathematics (essential).
• Previous experience in an international school setting (essential).
